Destiny Hello Graal. Today me and Olorin got many fixes up for Destiny as well as a new midi (made by Supernick and Shira). Hi Graal again.

Today (well, right now it just turned July 5th... so maybe I should say yesterday) was a great success! The fireworks and Destiny arrival came perfectly as planned! We all had a shock from a surprise appearance from UNIXMAD! The crowd didn't calm down till Stefan and UNIXMAD came down to meet me and some fellow Graalians on the shore (away from the heart of the celebration where everyone was killing and chatting away). So when everyone calmed down, that is when the good photos came!

We all were welcoming Destiny to arrive and us Americans were saying Happy July 4th! If you missed the celebration, too bad... it's a shame. But at least you can swing over to the Screenshots section and view 2 of my favorite ones! I sure hope to see lots more (you can send that over to antago@graalonline.com) of people that took some from offshore. Mine only displayed the calm crowd and the shore viewers. It would be nice to have some from more up in the land area where everyone was since the shore was only for a couple people who were lucky enough to get out of the PK Zone...

Also, to those of you who have not noticed yet, Destiny has risen! After 20 some "WE WANT DESTINY" invaders, we raised Destiny! I will not give any details on Destiny, but you can be sure to get the Lizard Sword.

You can also see an opposite boots party photo that I took a while back now in the screenshots section as well as a new Northern Limits explosion pic and some others.

Hello Graal.

I almost made it completely away but then Olorin (again!) gave me something to come back for. I am now the new GFX admin (supposedly...). I will not play, chat, and get so involved in Graal so much anymore (notice I said so much... I 'may' possibly do some of those every now and then). Also, I am busy making Flash cartoons so please do not ask to be on my icq list or message me to death. As for now you can expect the following (which WILL be part of my continent (Destiny) on Graal since I am 'king' and 'maker' of it):

- Guild Wars World: For all your guild hating wants and needs.
- Glowtica: Will be finally accessable... Glowitca is that big blue underwater Destiny country on the map.
- New map: Not part of Destiny, but you can expect this. It will have big updates to it as well as lables that tell you the names of different areas... It also will have Guild Wars progress levels on it and Matia.

Well good bye. Also, Destiny has removed the following since some of you may be thinking you hit the jack pot and will get lots of goodies...:

1. Several fullhearts.
2. Bees, bottles, and the net.
3. Special 'other worlder' weapons and things I put in there.
4. My globe.
5. The army tank (made by Ish).
6. And some other extra things.
7. Bugs and other things.

Destiny has some added things:

1. Tower is 'much' harder and better.
2. Poneister (the boss of my tower) does not freeze anymore.
3. Other fixes and decorations.

I will also try to clear up some complications between me and some angry civilians... Plus you can expect some big things tomarrow July 4th (EST). If Olorin gets FTP access back to upload to the main world, this is what will be uploaded tomarrow for ya guys:

American July 4th Firework celebration! I have made it so that the fireworks are where the first level to Destiny is... Enter it through the 'bottom' of Avalon. Reserve your seat early (wait in the bottom level of Avalon for the admin message to pop up and tell you that you can enter the fireworks) for when 6:00 PM (EST) tomarrow on July 4th comes, you can enter the level and just rest there for the celebration. After they are over (make sure you take screenshots while you can before the celebration stops), Destiny will be loaded onto the game and you will finally be able to reach it on the main server (just the main area in the clouds). Of course that is if we can get access for uploading.

"New" Quest Information & GP Requests

Dear Graalians:

I am finally making my first news post. I don't have a logo GIF right now, nor do I have a GO e-mail account at this time, so please don't try e-mailing it.

I'd like to bring up two issues. First off, I have been receiving many requests for help with the latest quests (Avalon, Tyhm, etc.). Thing is, we GPs cannot help you by warping you past obstacles, to hearts or items, nor to beat a boss. Why? The Level Administration Team needs to get their FTP access so they can fix the bugs and problems with the quests, so if we helped anyone with the quests in that manner, then we'd feel pretty obligated to help everyone else who asks for that assistance, and the real problem with that is that it's basically impossible for us to tell who is telling the truth. We don't want to be warping people everywhere just because they are too lazy to do it themselves (no offense intended). We shall, however, warp you to public areas if you are stuck, and *try* fixing a problem by updating the level, or by reorganizing your items (if it's a problem related to an item which seemed to have stopped working). Lastly, I have been asked to *not* warp people to hearts or items, so you see, this just isn't my opinion, but something I have been told to do. Please wait until the LAT members fix the problems, and you'll all be able to do the quests fluently. Thank you.

Another issue I need to bring up is that people have been asking me a *LOT* to be a GP. I may be different than previous chiefs, but this is one issue that I share the same feelings about as the leaders of the past. I do not like it when people constantly ask me to be a GP. Expressing your interest is fine, but please do not beg me, nor any other staff member, to become a GP. If you are that enthusiastic about becoming a GP, then it's quite possible that you do not understand what the job entails to the fullest. All the current GPs understand the extreme stress that comes with the job, and many did not learn just how hard it would be until they were hired. Being a GP is not a self-centered position; it is all about the community and teamwork. At this time, we are not accepting new recruits (note: some of you may feel that Stryker was hired after I closed the recruiting line, but the truth is that he was waiting in the system for quite a while). I may post more news when we have figured out a fair and effective way of finding new people (not testing them, because that part has already been refined).

Guild Information

Hey everybody.  I'm back from vacation and I have reviewed the Guild Quene from A to H.  Here are the guilds that were added.

Once again I will not accept guilds such as Hackers, Cheaters, etc.  I will do J to S tomorrow at some point of time.  I need to get some sleep I haven't been home long.

Graal v1.38 reversion 1 released

I've uploaded new zips, go to the download page to get the new version. It fixes some bugs like the warping thing and it has a new option 'don't connect levels' which may reduce lag because Graal will only show one single level if you turn it on.
Agent Crypto will soon upload a new script for password retrieving. If you have forgotten your password or if there was something wrong with it then you can get a new password with that script.

About the accounts that were messed up: there were some accounts which contained messed up stuff (wrong characters etc.) so the server deletes the messed up part of the account. This will turn some accounts into a 'newbie' account again. It's not possible to restore the accounts to the old state because that will not help (the accounts would still be messed up and could produce even worse problems).
Of course that problems with accounts are not nice, that's why we are moving all accounts soon into a more secure database. That will also give GPs better ways to look at accounts.
